Description

Through submissions to review processes, AIP aims to inform the community and governments about the downstream petroleum industry, and its significance to the national economy, by making available comprehensive factual information and data about the industry and its performance over time. AIP material also highlights the key issues and challenges facing the industry, particularly in a highly competitive market environment.

AIP submissions are made on behalf of AIP’s four core member companies involved in refining and marketing of petroleum products – BP Australia Pty Ltd, Ampol Limited (formerly known as Caltex Australia Limited), Mobil Oil Australia Pty Ltd and Viva Energy Australia Pty Ltd. These four member companies operate all major petroleum refineries in Australia and supply around 90% of the transport fuel market with bulk petroleum fuels.
